What does it do?
ProMANAGE Quality Operations Module aims the following:
- Ensuring quality tracking of production processes.
- Creating the opportunity of instant intervention to a quality-based problem encountered during production.
- Decreasing production costs.
- Providing support to increasing product quality.
Quality data can be collected directly or automatically from the measurement tools on the field or machines with multiple quality data input types (numerical, binary selection, selection from list, explanation). With the quality test results that are inputted, SPC analysis can be made and reported. Tracking of calibration durations of the measurement tools that are used in quality tests can be ensured. Users can be informed through sending automatic notifications in case of encountering a quality-based problem. This way, low quality production can be prevented.
Why should it be used?
In order to keep costs and quality under control in factories, quality of manufacturing processes are tracked. To decrease losses in manufacturing and carry out flawless production, it’s necessary to track manufacturing process parameters that effect quality and notice and fix these parameters as soon as they go out of their interval. Especially, it must be ensured that a bigger loss is prevented and the problem is removed through early intervention to the part that will be disposed of as scrap.
How does it affect production?
In manufacturing processes, product quality has always been a significant subject and since insufficient attention is given to this issue in many factories, major losses are experienced. Quality problem in factories is critical. With ProMANAGE Quality Operations Module, singular or plural tracking of quality processes in factories based on part (product), mold, machine and operation is ensured. The Quality Module bears utmost significance in determining the manufacturing stage that the quality problem is seen. In case that any quality problem is detected in accordance with the results of the acquired data, warnings/alarms are generated in factories in order for precautions to be taken.
Furthermore, to increase product quality, statistical process control reports can be obtained in order to analyze automatic or manual test results that are collected from the manufacturing area. As a result, in case of the emergence of a problem outside the process, it’s improved via instant intervention and product quality of the factory is protected through making the analysis of the process’ performance and competence.
